When & How Should I RSVP?
To help us and our wonderful wedding vendors prepare, we kindly ask that you RSVP as soon as possible. The final deadline to RSVP is Friday, September 19, 2025. Unfortunately, if we haven’t received your response by then, we’ll have to mark you as “Not Attending” and won’t be able to include you in any of our wedding events.
To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab on our website and enter your name. All invited guests in your party will appear, allowing you to mark each person as “Attending” or “Not Attending.”
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we plan for our special day!
What if I can't make it after I’ve already RSVP'd?
While we will miss your presence, we completely understand that life can sometimes present unexpected circumstances. If you are unable to attend, we kindly ask that you RSVP "will not attend." If you have already RSVP'd but later realize you cannot attend, please notify Chandler as soon as possible. Your prompt communication helps us ensure everything runs smoothly on our big day. Thank you for your understanding.
CAN I BRING MY PARTNER OR ANOTHER GUEST?
As our venue has reached full capacity, we regret that we are unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those listed on your invitation.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
Our wedding will be an adults-only affair. We hope this provides all our guests, including parents, an opportunity to relax and celebrate. Unfortunately, due to liability restrictions at the reception venue, we are unable to accommodate anyone not listed on your invitation.
What is the wedding attire?
We're thrilled that you're planning to celebrate with us! We kindly ask guests to wear black tie attire to our wedding. We want you to look and feel your best!
We kindly request that the women select a floor-length gown, a formal cocktail dress, or a tailored jumpsuit.
As for men, we recommend opting for a suit with a coat and tie. A tuxedo is not necessary if you don’t have one in your closet, but we do ask for a polished, formal look.
We can't wait to see you all dressed to impress as we celebrate love and joy together!
What attire is not allowed?
As the bride’s house party will be wearing blue as her “something blue,” we respectfully ask that you avoid wearing any shades of blue, as well as neon or pastel colors and any variation of white. Additionally, please refrain from wearing spaghetti straps to maintain the formality of the event.
what is a "house party"?
In Southern weddings, a "house party" is a select group of the bride and groom's closest friends chosen to play a meaningful role in the celebration. Similar to a traditional wedding party, they will support us throughout the event, assist with preparations, and help ensure everything runs smoothly. While our official wedding party will consist of family only, we've asked our best friends to be part of our house party. These individuals have stood by us through thick and thin and have witnessed our relationship from the very beginning. We want to honor our friendship with them on this important day, as they hold a special place in our hearts.
What will the weather be like?
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, while the reception will take place indoors. Given that we are in North Carolina in October, temperatures may cool significantly after sundown. We recommend checking the weather forecast before packing and considering a coat for added comfort during the evening.
Do you have hotel room blocks for the wedding?
Yes, we have secured room blocks at nearby hotels for our guests. We deeply appreciate your effort to join us for our celebration. Please visit the "Accommodations" tab for further details.
When should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM, and we recommend arriving thirty minutes early. If you arrive after the ceremony has started, we kindly ask that you wait and join us during cocktail hour. To avoid any delays, we encourage you to reserve a rideshare service in advance for a smooth and timely arrival.
WILL THERE BE PARKING?
Of course! Separk Mansion provides ample parking behind the venue for guests who choose to drive. However, if you plan to enjoy our open bar, we encourage you to book a rideshare service or arrange for a designated driver to ensure you get home safely. Your safety is our top priority!
